Air Carries The Load

Agricultural tyre selection and load designation on each axle shall be based on the highest individual tyre / wheel load as determined by the static vehicle weight.

Maximum loads on individual tyres are determined by:

Weight Split (Guide Only)

• 2WD Tractor weight split front to rear 20-25% front* 75-80% rear

• MFWA Tractor weight split front to rear 35-40% front* 60-65% rear

• E4WD Tractor weight split front to rear 50-51% front* 49-50% rear

• Maximum load per tyre/wheel shall not be greater than specified in applicable tables and or stated on each tyre size sidewall.

• Tangential pull of a tyre is the maximum horizontal / parallel pull considered to be acting at the tyre’s loaded radius contact point with the surface, which the tyre can continuously withstand excluding momentary/short and occasional peak loads.
